Blue Beech Block Party!

Hello Blue Beechers!

Here is more information about the party! :)

Food:

The money we collect will go towards Hamburgers, Hot dogs & Veggie Burgers AND towards entertainment.

Games:

carnival theme for the kids & the young at heart

-waterballoons were a big hit & we'll do that again

-face painting & tatoos

-various carnival games we can set up along the lawns

-possibly a bounce house, popcorn machine & sno-cone machine.
-chalk for the kids

-Set up a friendly father/son/daughter basketball challenges

*the carnival games & sno cones can be run by the older kids on the street. IF we are able to rent a bounce house it will need to be monitored by adults- we would have to do that in shifts...

Night time Movie:

Movie night at the Fontanella's TBA
A 2nd movie is being considered for the older kids at Tharesa's house TBA

Fire pits:
The Salewski's have one -- we will need a couple more.

Outlet mall!

Hi Everyone!

I am going to take a Saturday and go to the outlet malls ... I always go in Sept with some friends and we find awesome deals!!

Does anyone know when the best time to go during Spring? .... Would anyone be interested in outlet mall shopping for the day? maybe in May or June --

Zumba!

Hey there!

I am sure you guys have heard of Zumba! Well there is a group that meets at Applebees weekly in North Syracuse then heads to the Dance studio behind Applebees, Across from Planet Fitness! Apparently Applebees gives free appetizers to the dancers.

Susan M. and I have are going to try it out ... The classes cap at 20 so if anyone else is interested let me know and I can sign you up ..

The next meet is: Thursday the 9th at 5:45

SU Game

hmmm looks like I am going to go down in rank in the Basketball Tournament Pool since I picked SU to win .... bummer!! Any other optimists out there that thought SU was going all the way??? :)

Walking

Hey there!

Is anyone interested in starting a walking club (hehe sounds so ... I don't know school aged :)).

We could meet at a Blue Beech corner and walk .. this way if you want to do it every night or every other night you can choose!

A few of you may walk already ... and have a better system, I am just feeling like I need to walk now that the weather is getting better ...and the more support the better ! :).

Does anyone have a suggestion on the time? 6:30 or 7:00? <-- pm of course :)
